826 Boston is a nonprofit youth writing and publishing organization that empowers traditionally underserved students ages 6-18 to find their voices, tell their stories, and gain communication skills to succeed in school and in life. 826 Boston opened its doors with the Bigfoot Research Institute at Egleston Square in Roxbury in 2007. Since then, they’ve expanded their programming serving over 3,500 students and forming supportive partnerships with 150 teachers annually.
