How We Work

We’re focused on serving more students than ever before.

Writing education can happen inside or outside the classroom. We inspire students wherever they are.

826 Network

Where communities celebrate student writing

From nine brick-and-mortar writing and tutoring centers to countless programs at local schools, 826 chapters and partners work within their communities to help more students build writing skills and express their ideas.

826 Voices

Amplifying student voices

Publishing books by young writers is one of our favorite activities. We empower students by providing platforms to share their voices and opportunities to see their words in print.

826 Digital

826 anywhere

826 Digital provides free teaching resources and lesson plans to educators and parents nationwide. Students can see their words published online in the 826 Digital Writing Gallery.
