Join 826 National and Cartoon Network for the Stop Bullying: Speak Up Writing Challenge

March 18, 2019

826 National is proud to announce the Stop Bullying: Speak Up Writing Challenge, presented in collaboration with Cartoon Network and The FriXion Erasable Pen by Pilot Pens.

Join the Stop Bullying: Speak Up Writing Challenge for a chance to see your student’s story on TV! In 2018, our friends at Cartoon Network animated two 826 Network student stories from the Inclusion Storytelling Project—one by Jekaya, Grade 4, 826 Boston and another by Nana-Wadieh, Grade 3, 826NYC—in effort to promote kindness, caring, and empathy among students across the country and stop bullying before it starts.

Now, we want to share your anti-bullying story with the world! The Stop Bullying: Speak Up Writing Challenge invites students from across the country to create and publish their own stories on kindness with a free booking kit from Cartoon Network and 826 National. One lucky student who submits their writing will have their story animated by Cartoon Network. Animation styles may differ from those videos created in 2018, but will match the tone and theme of the special story selected.

Teachers: Share your students’ stories on kindness, inclusion, and empathy by May 20, 2019 for the chance to see their story animated by Cartoon Network! Cartoon Network, Pilot Pens, and 826 National will pick one story to be on TV to inspire others to speak up against bullying.

SEND US YOUR STORIES.
